Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Zonal Manager for the South Indian Agrochemical market. The successful candidate will look after our business in South India with a strong hold in the state of Karnataka. You will play a pivotal role in driving sales, enhancing collections, and maximizing profits. As the Zonal Head, you will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing sales initiatives while working closely with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the team, monitoring sales performance, collections, and optimizing stock liquidation. Additionally, you will be tasked with designing and implementing promotional schemes and conducting product demonstrations to support both existing and new product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

(A) Financial -

• Develop a sales forecast, sales plan and budgets for the region, in partnership with the leadership.

• Responsible for achieving the profit and sales targets for the region.

• Responsible for preparing budgets for various regions under his zone.

• Ensures achievement of monthly sales and collection targets for top 5 products.

• Responsible for planning, forecasting and maintaining optimum level of inventory.

• Monitor the sales returns and bad debts.

• Plan and ensure availability of products in co-ordination with Supply Chain.

(B) Development & Promotion -

• Develop a short and long-term marketing plans within the earmarked marketing budgets.

• Establishes the product pricing in partnership with the Sales leadership.

• Build, expand, motivate & manage the dealer channel that promotes JU products.

• Ensure development and promotion schemes are designed and implemented for promoting sales.

• Ensure Sales team conducts regular training, product demonstrations for dealers / farmers.

• Monitors competition by gathering competitor information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions.

(C) Zonal Development & Leadership -

• Defines targets for each sales team member.

• Track and review sales performance through monthly and quarterly reviews with the team.

• Ensure sales teams are well-trained and equipped to be productive.

• Monitors the sales organization’s compliance with required standards and policies.

• Build, motivate and guide the team to drive and grow the business.

• Develop and generate regional sales MIS.



• 15+ years of exposure in the related field
